We stayed at this element hotel and came down for apps before dinner. Such a cute spot. The vibe. The energy. Loved it. Had the blistered shishito peppers and the baked goat cheese and both were amazing! And Leanne was the sweetest server! Will definitely be coming back to try their full menu
Just a block off 6th Street in Austin, Caroline is a fabulous, chic yet casual gem of a restaurant. Visited for an afternoon during SXSW, and enjoyed every minute of my experience dining on the main level patio. From the get-go, Haven was a delightful hostess and Taylor was an attentive and thoughtful server. The entire staff was warm and personable. Enjoyed the goddess salad with mahi, a great combination. Salad was bursting with flavor due to very fresh greens and herbs, perfectly paired with a sparking rosé. Loved checking out the vibe upstairs, too, with quite a large indoor and outdoor space. Highly recommend!
We had Christmas brunch at Caroline’s today, and it was truly such a special experience. From the moment we walked in, the entire place felt festive, welcoming, and full of holiday spirit. The food and drinks were absolutely perfect—delicious mimosas and eggs Benedict done just right—but what truly made our morning unforgettable was the service. Our server, Memory, was phenomenal. She was so warm, friendly, and genuinely kind, and she made us feel cared for from start to finish. Her energy and attentiveness added so much joy to our Christmas morning and honestly elevated the entire experience. We were also incredibly impressed with the manager and the whole staff who chose to sacrifice their Christmas morning so people like us could have a place to gather, relax, and feel festive. That generosity did not go unnoticed. Everything—from the atmosphere to the food to the impeccable service—was amazing, but Memory’s outstanding service is what truly stood out and made this experience so memorable. We’re so grateful and will absolutely be back.
Absolutely fantastic lunch spot. Drinks and food were fresh and delicious. Portion sizes were great. The best part about lunch? The service. Our server Clu was beyond fantastic. He heard that there were some birthdays amongst the group and treated them like royalty. Complimentary champagne and desert. The manager came over at the end of our meal and made sure everything was up to par. Couldn’t recommend this place any more.
I’ve eaten brunch and dinner here. Most recently this past weekend for my birthday dinner. When I say 10/10 experience I meant it. The staff were so friendly and made me feel so special. I got the mushroom pasta and it was so delicious. However, the star of the show were the chicken enchiladas and the gooey cake.
Service was great! Wine was amazing. I got the Banshee, not too dry but not too sweet. I also got the crab and artichoke dip and it was amazing. Would get again. Lastly got the blueberry cobbler dessert. A little too much blueberry for me and not enough crust. I’d probably do something else next time. I love that they stayed open until 12 and I could bring my laptop and get work done. I really liked the atmosphere too, intimate, welcoming, chill.
Service was incredible, Clu was one of the best waiters we have ever had! Food was incredible steak sandwich was cooked perfectly! We had 3 birthdays in our group and they brought complimentary champagne and dessert. Highly recommend!
Loved our visit to Caroline! Aaron was an awesome server—super friendly and on top of everything. I had the biscuits and gravy and the Mexican coffee, and both were so good. The biscuits and gravy were comforting and flavorful, and that Mexican coffee was the perfect treat to go with it. Great food, great service, and a really nice vibe. Would definitely come back!
Shoutout to our server Walter! He was so sweet, calm and attentive which made my dining experience very nice. Good service & delicious food just brightens my mood. The wild mushroom bolognese was sooo yummy especially paired with my refreshing Keep Austin Gauva’d margarita. The ambiance in this place is really nice too, dimly lit and aesthetically pretty with good music. Happy I got to stop by here while I visited Austin! Will definitely be back when I’m here again~
Hanna was AMAZING! We did a couples trip to Austin and I have to say -the people that live in Austin are the nicest people in any big city I’ve ever visited but Hanna stood out as one of the best. We went to Caroline for dinner and had an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere is fun but also elevated. Hanna took it upon herself to go and find us votes from all of her coworkers and who had the best tacos in town since we were on a “self guided taco tour”. She recommended great food off the Caroline menu and wonderful shops and bars to visit for late night hours after they closed, while we were there. She wasn’t just a server, she was like a friend we were visiting and was telling us what to check out. I recommend going to this restaurant and I recommend asking her as a server!
